hiker
We've done some (gentle) hiking in the Sierras recently, all above 8000 ft elevation, and all without carrying Sophie.
We have to carry a backpack of snacks, and we aren't breaking any speed records, but we're proud of her perseverance.

Kings Mountain Art Fair
Every year we go to our local art fair, which benefits our volunteer fire brigade. It's beautifully set in the redwoods and we can hike to the shuttle from our house.
