funny girl
Sophie's sense of humor is developing nicely.
She will, on occasion, say "you're funny" and start cracking up. Naturally, we are encouraging this kind of buffoonery.

Flat Stanley
"Flat Stanley" has come to visit us, courtesy of our good friend Bella (age 6).
Sophie likes to carry her around. We are working on her being gentle with F.S. so that no more scotch tape reattachment surgery is required... ahem.

Fear of imaginary holiday characters?
Either way, Sophie was terrified of the Easter Bunny this year, despite the fact that it is the EXACT same bunny she visited last year...

Sophie spent some time in her pal Eva's playhouse.
They did cooking.
Banged on some cups.
And Eva explained to Sophie the nuances of mail.
Given that Sophie really only sees it as a pile that arrives on the kitchen counter about twice a week, she didn't quite understand how super fabulous mail can be.
Fortunately, Eva's enthusiasm made up for it.
